The below steps explain how to get started with the ACRDR103 Standalone Access Control Reader.
In this example we will be doing the following:

The keypad draws 12VDC at 100ma.
A 12VDC 1A power supply is recommended, which you can share for the door latch and keypad. (provided the door latch does not draw more then 900ma.)
When powering up the keypad, it will beep for 1 minute, you can wait until the beeps finish, or enter 12# to skip the power up delay.
1. Ensure the Amber LED is flashing, and the keypad is not beeping.
2. Enter the Master code (Default 0000) then press the bell button twice. The amber LED will stay on when the keypad is in programming mode.
The master code is only used for programming the keypad, it is not used for unlocking the door.
1. Access Programming Mode.
2. Enter 01 <New Master Code> #
3. Press ** to exit programming mode.Each user will have a different User Number - eg. User 1 will have be 001, User 2 will have be 002, etc.
This will add a user code which triggers output 1, replace 10 with 20 in the below example, if you would like to trigger output 2.
1. Access Programming Mode.
2. Enter 10 1 <User Number> <Scan Card on Keypad> #
(Example - Add a card for user number 001. Enter 10 1 001 <Tap Card on Keypad> )
Each user will have a different User Number - eg. User 1 will have be 001, User 2 will have be 002, etc.
This will add a user code which triggers output 1, replace 10 with 20 in the below example, if you would like to trigger output 2.
1. Access Programming Mode.
2. Enter 10 2 <User Number> <4-8 Digit User Code> #
(Example - Program user code 123456 to user number 002. Enter 10 2 002 123456 # )
Erasing a user will erase both the Card and User code for that particular user.
1. Access Programming Mode.
2. Enter 10 5 <User Number> #
(Example - Delete user number 002. Enter 10 5 002 # )
The relay unlock time can be set between 1 and 99,999. Setting this value to 0 will switch the output to a Momentary Output (On/Off)
1. Access Programming Mode.
2. Enter 51 <Time> #
(Example - Set relay unlock time to 30 seconds. Enter 51 30 # )
