Reset to default
To reset or erase all remotes, use a pair of metal tweezers to short the two reset points on the PCB while the main power is till on, until the internal red LED begins to flash (The unit is reset, and all remotes that were previously learnt will be erased).
Learning a first remote
Immediately release the tweezers, then hold down button 1 on a remote to be learnt in for approximately 3 seconds, and now this remote used in this procedure will be the only unit which will operate this RCX.
Learning new remotes
To learn new remotes, hold down buttons 1 and 3 on an existing remote for 5 seconds, then immediately release the existing remote and press button 1 on the new remote for 3 seconds, your new remote should now be learnt in.
