    Network Detection

    July 1st, 2026

Network detection can be used to check the incoming and outgoing bandwidth that is being used by the recorder. for example it can show if there is a Bottleneck in the network. If there is a large number of cameras on the network and the recorder is experiencing stutter on the cameras. The NVR will display a network load well under what it should actually be. (Most common bottleneck is a NVR plugged into a 100mb port on a Switch)

    1. Navigate to Main Menu > Maintenance > Manager > Network Detection
    2. Select the LAN you want to monitor (LAN2 10.2.2.1 is the internal POE of this NVR)
    3. The Green Line shows the transmission data. (Data that is being sent out, through P2P etc) and the Red Line is the Receive data. (Camera feeds etc)
