Network detection can be used to check the incoming and outgoing bandwidth that is being used by the recorder. for example it can show if there is a Bottleneck in the network. If there is a large number of cameras on the network and the recorder is experiencing stutter on the cameras. The NVR will display a network load well under what it should actually be. (Most common bottleneck is a NVR plugged into a 100mb port on a Switch)
- Navigate to Main Menu > Maintenance > Manager > Network Detection
- Select the LAN you want to monitor (LAN2 10.2.2.1 is the internal POE of this NVR)
- The Green Line shows the transmission data. (Data that is being sent out, through P2P etc) and the Red Line is the Receive data. (Camera feeds etc)
