Alarm Hub Layout





Please Note: Input power to the ALM-D2 hub is 240V (2-pin socket cable).
Alarm Setup:
Before setup, Ensure the power cable is correctly plugged into the alarm hub and the power switch is on.
The alarm is configured and controlled through the DMSS app. You can download DMSS on iOS and Android through the App store or Google Play. Once the app is downloaded, follow the steps below.
Creating a DMSS Account
DMSS is a remote surveillance app that can be used to access your security products remotely.
It can be found on the Google Play store and iOS App Store.

To create a DMSS account, tap Log In

Tap Sign Up.

Enter your email/phone number, create a password and accept the DMSS Registration Agreement, then tap Get Verification Code.

Check your inbox for a verification code (press resend if you do not receive one) then enter the code in the empty field.

You may receive Account Security Enhancement pop-up when you've created your account. Here you need to enter another verification code. Repeat from the previous step.

Adding the Alarm Hub

On the Home Page, tap the Plus icon in the top right corner, then tap Scan QR Code.

Scan the QR code located on the back of the alarm hub directly or tap
at the bottom of the screen to import an image of the QR code.

After scanning the QR code, press and hold the AP button on the back of the hub until the indicator light starts flashing blue. Then tap Next.

Your phone will then search for alarm hub Wi-Fi hotspot.
Once it has found the connection, tap Connect.

Create a password for the hub and enter an email to be used to reset the password in the future if forgotten.
Then tap Next.

Once the hotspot connection is successful, tap Select Network Config Method.
Then, select the network config method that you want to use.


Wired Network: Select if connecting an ethernet cable directly from your router/modem into the back of the alarm hub. Enable DHCP, or manually enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS and MAC address.
Mobile Network: Select if inserting a 4G SIM card into the back of the alarm hub to use the mobile network. Configure the APN, Autho mode, username, password, dial number, roaming data for the SIM card.
Wi-Fi: Select if connecting the alarm hub wirelessly to a Wi-Fi connection. Select a Wi-Fi network, and then enter the password to connect to it.
Adding Areas
An area is a group of sensors that the alarm treats as one unit for arming and disarming. They are used to divide your security system into separate sections that can be controlled independently.

Open DMSS and tap Home then tap on your alarm hub.

Tap Area then tap the Plus icon in the top right corner.

Give the area a name (e.g. bedroom, kitchen, etc.) and select or import an image to be the icon for the new area. Then tap OK.

- You can now control this new area from the Operation page or the Area page.
Adding Peripherals
Preparation:
- Ensure the hub is already added to your DMSS app and is powered on.
- Make sure the hub is disarmed before adding peripherals.
- Have the peripheral device (e.g., detector, siren, keyfob) ready, with its QR code accessible (usually found at the bottom of the device).
Supported Peripherals and Capacity
Wireless peripherals: The hub supports up to 150 wireless channels, including:
6 sirens
64 PIR cameras
64 keyfobs
8 keypads
4 repeaters
Examples of Peripherals
Detectors: Motion detectors, door/window sensors, smoke/gas detectors
Sirens: For audible alerts
PIR Cameras: For motion-triggered video
Keyfobs: For remote arming/disarming
Keypads: For manual control and user input
Repeaters: To extend wireless range
Repeaters: To extend wireless range
Adding Peripherals

Open DMSS and tap Home then tap on your alarm hub.

Tap on Devices then tap the Plus icon in the top right corner. Then tap Add Peripheral.

- Scan the QR code on the back of the peripheral or manually enter the Serial Number.

Select the model of the peripheral you are adding.

- Your phone will then search for the peripheral. Once it is found, tap Next.

Give the peripheral a name and assign it to an area.

- You will then see instructions to pair the peripheral to the alarm hub. At this point, if the peripheral is ON, turn it OFF, then back ON again, then follow the instructions. Then tap Next.

Your peripheral will then begin pairing with the alarm hub. Once it successfully pairs, tap OK.

Adding IP Cameras
Linking an IP camera to your alarm hub allows alarm events to be linked with video, providing visual verification and automatic recording when sensors are triggered. It also enables camera analytics, such as motion or intrusion detection, to trigger alarm actions and notifications through the hub.

Open DMSS and tap Home then tap on your alarm hub.

Tap on Devices.
Tap on the plus icon in the top right corner then tap on IPC.

You will then be prompted to enter the Name (E.g. My Camera, Living room camera), IP address, Username, Password and Area of the camera you are trying to add. Leave Port as 37777.
Alternatively, you can search for cameras on your network by tapping the plus icon in the top right corner, then tapping Search on LAN. You will then just have to enter the Device Name, Username, Password and Area.
After entering the camera's details, tap Save.
