VIP access controller is able to notify the operator when a door is opened for a time exceeding the preset period.
Note: Door sensor (reed switch) must be installed to feed back the status of the door to the access control.
To do this:
Step 1 - Configure the door
Step 2 - Tell Smart PSS what to do when door is kept opened for a long time. In this example, to tell the Smart PSS to report an alarm event.
Click Save button (Not shown here, lower right corner of the screen) to continue.
Note:
- Smart PSS must be installed and running on a PC when the notification is required.
- PC must be equipped with a speaker.
- The notification is a continue short and quick beep sound for about 1 second only.
